The Right Choice Requires the Right Information
|
We at RIT care deeply about consumer
privacy and are concerned about the alarming trend of
consumer data being given or sold to third parties for
the exploitation of unsuspecting consumers. Without
permission or knowledge, aggressive companies can
increase sales and profits by taking advantage of habits
and trends about which the consumer themselves may not
be aware.
RIT encourages customers and consumers alike to
report privacy abuse whenever it occurs. To this end we
have included links to various organizations that may be
able to help.
See the “Why & How to Protect Your Privacy
& Report Violations” button to the left; other tools
will be forthcoming.
The
Right Decision Requires the Right
Information
This is exactly what the RIT repository will provide. We
are in the business of helping our clients and their
customers lower risk, protect privacy, become more
efficient and profitable! RIT was designed to
improve any industry that contributes payment and
behavior history, typically those not reporting to the
credit bureaus. As an unbiased
independent source of aggregated industry specific
information, RIT will benefit every data contributor
that participates.
RIT will not sell client lists to their
competitors as is the norm for other data
repositories.
RIT will not sell or transfer ownership of any
consumer information to third parties, which is also a
common practice of other companies and data providers.
As a source
of non-traditional credit, RIT will be a boon to
individuals in need of substantiating credit worthiness.
The
Right Stuff
RIT advisors are comprised of IS, IT, security,
data base, business and legal experts dedicated to
developing a truly pro-consumer national data
repository. Our products will
revolutionize the perception of industry specific
behavior and payment histories and how they are used to
mitigate new account risk. The data in our
reports will be completely unbiased, balanced, accurate,
secure, and of the highest integrity. RIT has gone to
great lengths to protect customer, consumer and data
contributors’ information and privacy; see:
“Corporate-By-Laws”,
“Security”, and
“Privacy Policy”.
RIT
Is Not
RIT is not a screening company, credit
bureau or collection agency. RIT is not
affiliated with any individual, company or organization
that could jeopardize the objectivity or trust essential
to a credible national
repository.
RIT
Is
A new, better and safer way to gather and use
business and consumer data. RIT will offer
consumers, data contributors, screening companies,
software providers and all our clients with protection,
fairness, superior service and redundant security. RIT represents
an opportunity for industry trade associations,
organizations and companies to help protect their
customers and consumers from privacy and financial
exploitation by other data providers and
aggregators.
We here at RIT feel strongly that a safe harbor
to provide a fair and equitable balance between
corporate and individual needs for historical private
information does not currently exist. Which is why,
RIT was
founded.
